A recent article in The Telegraph claims that media mogul Simon Cowell worked for a time as a runner at Elstree Studios, including a stint on The Shining, where he purportedly buffed Jack Nicholson’s prop axe. The claim is made by Cowell’s half brother, Tony, who sad the family lived close to Elstree Studios.

Holy Land USA
Waterbury, Connecticut

Holy Land USA was once an 18 acre Bible-themed park located in Waterbury, Connecticut. The park had about 40,000 visitors a year until it closed in 1984 for renovations. Holy Land USA never opened back up again due to the death of owner John Greco in 1986. It has been abandoned ever since. The abandoned acres of the theme park have been watched over by groups of nuns for decades, but the place keeps getting more and more creepy as the park continues to deteriorate.

On top of the vandalism and eeriness the park gives off, a teenager was murdered on these abandoned grounds in 2010. Since then police records have shown that the amount of trespassers have been decreasing which just means abandoned Holy Land USA is as creepy and deserted as ever.

The real government power that’s been revealed in the NSA mess is the broad assumption by the American population that they have no control over what the government does.

Think of the Tea Party— a tiny coalition of dirt-poor Americans have undone most of the civil rights movement, made it legal in several states to murder people who make you uncomfortable, decimated the government’s ability to provide basic services, and elected dozens of candidates who couldn’t run a VCR.

How did they do it? By voting in primaries and off-year elections and being willing to abandon incumbents.

If you treat the government like it’s an army of alien overlords, then of course power will centralize. If they thought there was an electoral angle in it, politicians would be crawling over each other to burn down the NSA. But they trust that come November the conversation will be about birth certificates and Mormon underwear or whatever. If they thought they’d lose your vote over it, they’d sod the moon.

I don’t approve of US government wiretapping. No one does. That’s why the outrage about these “revelations” is so maddening.

If half of the politicians who are whining about Verizon and PRISM worked to end these practices, they would end immediately. Those efforts would enjoy near universal support. But no one does, because as they (AND YOU) practice American politics, it’s more useful to have a gripe than to have your way. The party in power won’t relinquish wiretapping privileges because it doesn’t want preventable terrorist acts to occur on its watch, and the minority won’t work to prevent wiretapping because it’s a handy rock to throw when you’re on the losing side of an actual political debate (nb: austerity, health care, gender equality, immigration).

I know that these intrusions have been happening for more than a decade. I’ve known about Verizon’s complicity since it began. BECAUSE I READ THE FUCKING PAPER. AND HONESTLY I USUALLY JUST SKIM IT. The Verizon record dump was carried out with FISA court approval, every member of Congress was briefed on it from Day 1. Members of the Intelligence Committee have themselves had access to the records in question. The cat has never been even slightly in the bag.

So anyone feigning surprise at this point is either a victim of self-imposed ignorance or, much more problematically, just committing political shenanigans. And they trust that those shenanigans will be effective because the American public is too proud to acknowledge its indifference and not nearly proud enough to demand change.

If you don’t enjoy the fact that American governance has devolved into a game of political football, refuse to be the ball.

GUYS —- WHY GORGEOUS WING GIRLS MATTER TO YOU:

GUYS – Many of you have “Girl Issues” when it comes to dating, sex, love and relationships. Your not getting girls you want - or not getting girls at all….

If you don’t get your girl “issues” handled, they can affect the rest of your life and seep into work, school, career advancement, etc – and leave a gnawing feeling like something is not quite fulfilling. At the core of most of these issues is a lack of confidence (often masked in bravado and macho behavior), a fear of approach, bad body language and bad voice tonality. And we’ve all seen it out there:

Guys afraid to approach hot women;

Guys staring and leering at a girl from across the room without approaching and creeping the girl out;

Guys standing in the corner or against the wall with their hands in their pockets, rocking back and forth;

Guys nervously holding their drink in front of their body, playing with the glass, nervously jamming the straw into the glass;

Guys stumbling and fumbling around, not knowing what to say – or worse yet, trying to be “funny” or a “comedian” thinking that will get girls. It won’t;

Guys waiting to the last half hour in the club, sloppy drunk, racing around trying to pull any girl out of the club; LAME, WEAK and not ALPHA!

ALL OF THAT IS PATHETIC BEHAVIOR FROM A MAN (Or more like a boy in this case because real men don’t do this stuff). BELIEVE ME – Girls WILL NOTICE your lack of confidence – you may as well have it stamped on your forehead. They also KNOW when your “faking it” – no good either.

SO - HIRE A PROFESSIONAL WING GIRL TO HELP MAKE ALL OF THIS BAD STUFF GO AWAY!!!:

HERE’S WHY – and now I won’t get into how this happened to so many men out there – but MOST of it is NOT your fault.:

During the last 40 years in the United States;

— More boys were raised in single parent (largely female) homes without a father around to teach boys how to meet, date, seduce and have relationships with women (and hopefully you know NOT to listen to your mother’s dating advice, because what women say they want and what they respond to emotionally are two different things – its the way a woman’s brain chemistry is; ever have a girl tell you she wants a “nice guy” but then she turns around and dates a “bad boy”? – that’s a PERFECT EXAMPLE why you should not listen to female dating advice, EVER.) — We also won’t talk about the feminization of the countries schools, with fewer and fewer male teachers and more young naïve female teachers mistaking normal boy rambunctiousness for ADHD and thus mistakenly medicating it with prescription drugs, and - how normal flirting and showing any interest in a girl while in school is foolishly labeled as sexual harassment – which is nonsense – men are by NATURE intended to make the first move!;

— We won’t even talk about how Social Media has destroyed dating and relationships, with too much IM and email and texting and over-communication which does not lead to a satisfactory conclusion for most people and how attractive girls are BOMBARDED with stupid messages from guys online, causing them to “shut down” to all male attention;

SO LET’S TALK ABOUT IMMEDIATE SOLUTIONS THAT YOU MEN CAN DO TO FIX YOUR GIRL ISSUES AND BE MORE SUCCESSFUL WITH WOMEN IN GENERAL ——

—- HIRE A PROFESSIONAL WING GIRL. Let a gorgeous girl help you work a room like a pro and help you meet more women than EVER before in your life. Let her be your own personal social liaison, you own personal press secretary – be the mayor of your life and let her help you meet other hot girls because of a theory call “Pre-Selection” which says that a man whose already with a hot girl is 10X more attractive than a guy standing with a bunch of guys or a guy alone. This is because hot women gravitate towards men they PERCEIVE as already being successful with women!!!
